1994年生於台灣高雄。 世新大學公共關係暨廣告學系學士。他的攝影作品深入探討人類活動與環境之間錯綜複雜的交互作用，聚焦於人類行為對我們周圍世界的深刻影響。他的鏡頭揭示了高雄市景觀發生的複雜變化，這座城市正在經歷蛻變，透過美化工程重新定義其工業城市的身分。
他認為在不斷變化的地景中，攝影作用不僅僅是紀錄，它更是一種有效的工具，可以提高人們對追求表面現象所產生的多方面問題的認識，促進人們更深入地了解伴隨這種而來的環境和社會後果。

Ying Yun Chen is a photographer born and raised in Kaohsiung. His photography delves into the intricate interplay between human activities and the environment, casting a spotlight on the profound consequences of our actions on the world that envelops us. Chen's lens exposes the complex transformations occurring in Kaohsiung's urban landscape, as the city undergoes a metamorphosis to redefine its industrial identity through beautification projects.
Chen believes that photography, in the context of evolving landscapes, serves a higher purpose than mere documentation. It becomes a potent tool for raising awareness about the multifaceted issues stemming from the pursuit of a superficial exterior, fostering a deeper understanding of the environmental and societal consequences that accompany such transformations.
